Memories of Appalachia
I spent the morning at the Museum of Appalachia near Norris last weekend and found a rich variety of subject matter to point my camera at. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
From their website:
“The Museum of Appalachia, founded in 1969 by John Rice Irwin, portrays an authentic mountain farm/village with some three dozen historic log structures, exhibit buildings filled with thousands of authentic Appalachian artifacts, gardens surrounded by split rail fences, and farm animals in a picturesque setting.”
All images shot with a Leica M3 and ‘rigid’ Summicron on Fuji Neopan 400 film.
I really like those shots from from museum. Must visit there sometime.
